Born and raised in Oakland, California, Delgado began DJing hip hop and reggae as a teen. He moved to Los Angeles in 1994, and began working at radio station KSPC, where he hosted the most listened-to reggae show in Los Angeles for five years. He expanded his repertoire with a weekly influx of new dancehall 45s, dubplates, and the latest hip hop.
During his 10 years in L.A., Delgado was in demand at the most popular clubs and with the most famous artists, such as Buju Banton, Spragga Benz, and the Black Eyed Peas.
He has also released 18 mixed CDs (and tapes, when those were hi-tech), featuring roots, dancehall, and hip hop. He moved back to Oakland in 2003, and the music selection has only improved!
Delgado can be seen live regularly through out the Bay Area, send him an e-mail to get on the mailing list!
