I am going to take you back to a time when soul music was giving birth to many genres. This is when one was able to throw house parties without worrying about any funk jumping off but on the dance floor. Brothas were too cool to fight, as many would say, "I'm a lover, not a fighter." This is the age of soul power that transformed the landscape of racial harmony across the country.
