Miss Mya AKA Applecat was raised in Vancouver BC and now resides in Victoria. Music since the day she was born was her number one passion, every other endeavour always led back to.
With a diverse musical background she prefers everything from Old School Punk rock to classical era composures, from 90's alternative to 40's jazz, from Indian/Balkan to That deep kind of bass that penetrates you from the back of your eye sockets to deep in your solar plexus.

This year thus far AppleCat has played various venues and festivals this year, Including: EarthDance, Entheos, Bushwacked, Victoria Electronic Music Festival, Burning Man and Bass Camp. Also along with Vancouvers Briden is the Resident DJ on The Roadz Less Traveled Bus.

AppleCat tends to play mixed tempo sets bending the perception of "genre", but if asked she generally leans towards Glitch, Swing and melodic dubstep.
