"WALK ON BY: 25 Versions / 25 Artists"

When I first decided to put this mix together I knew it wouldn't be an easy process. I gathered somewhere around 50 versions- then narrowed it down to my personal favorite 25.

"Walk on by" was composed by Burt Bacharach and written by Hal David. It was first recorded by New Jersey native (and cousin of the late Whitney Houston) Dionne Warwick in 1963. While Dionne's version is quite good, I felt it was simply too obvious to be included here.

Some versions featured here may be known to many- several others may very well not be. I'm sure they'll be versions on here to tickle even the most discerning listener's eardrums.
