With the lovely Virgin Music Festival in Baltimore coming up this weekend (so awesome to have such an amazing lineup every year FOR FREE), wanted to keep in my tradition of putting out a mix of songs from artists playing the festival. Got trance, bluegrass, synth rock, blues, dubstep, southern rock, intelligent hip hop, piano rock and even acoustic all fitting together...love the diversity.

Saving the more party songs for when my collaborator comes to visit tomorrow, this mix is more on the chillout side as a whole. I am unusual in that lyrics aren't typically as important to me in songs (remove the words and everyone is still dancing, remove the music and it is a poetry recital!). However, pretty much all the songs here have excellent lyrics (actually worth googling if you are into that kind of thing). Ends up telling a great story taken all together. A very short mix at only 47 minutes, but a nice comfy ride.
