Marcus grew up in a profoundly musical household with his parents being musical influenced who put him into piano and drum lessons from the moment he had enough motor control in his hands to hold a drum stick. He is a completely self-taught DJ, buying all the necessary gear with money saved up from birthday's and Christmas and learning by bringing a new piece of musical technology home, plugging it in, and pushing all the buttons until something happened.

Marcus than began DJing in local banquet halls and clubs in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois; and soon blew up and countinues to have immense success in blowing up dancefloors across the Chicagoland area. He is also a prolific and respected producer, having released six albums and 7 EP's.
