Biography:
With over 15 years of experience, Sherwin Castro Cruz a.k.a. Dj Trigga began his career on the turntables at the age of 19. Born and raised in Manila Philippines, trigga started spinning live at Dance Music Zone (DMZ 89.1) Radio Station, and also a mobile events such as weddings, birthday parties etc,. Trigga perfected his turntablist skills as a battle dj in manila. Trigga started joining DJ competitions (DMC- Disco Mix Club PHILIPPINES) 2007 DMC Philippines 2nd runner -up.
With a wide range of music genre such as Hip-hop, Rnb, Electro,Soul House, Funk Soul and Jazz. We have ran djed and feature in some local events in Manila Phillipines and Istanbul Turkey, and also in a TV stations ABS-CBN channel 2 Umagang Kay Ganda, Balitang K, UNTV channel 37 Good Morning Kuya, Studio 23, Philippine Basketball Association PBA (halftime performer), PBL Makati Colliseum, Solar Sports.
Front act DJ of Andrew E., Cloc- 9 (no.1 MYX Live " UPUAN"), Beat-Mathiks ( Artsrong, D, Nathan J., MC Dash and Pikasso). Trigga is also a part of channel 13 noon time tv show known as Ratsada E. (musical scorer, spinner, dj), and GMA-7 Eat- Bulaga noon time show (spinner, dj) Fmcc Clothing, Tribu Outdoors, Team Manila, Malachi, Turf Clothing, Wake Sqad, DC, Tropical Depression Band, Cu-she, D' Dawn etc,.
Recently i represent Philippines for Dj Competiton in Singapore and im lucky to become top 3 dj and qualified for the finals dj battle last August 2010.
