I started mixing back in 1985 around the SF Bay Area originally from the 707 V-town, formed a dj group called Mystic Rhythm Productions with my brother Joe, cousin Rich, and buddies Rick, Oliver, Jun and cousin Mike Cruz from San Jose. We deejayed almost every kinds of gig there was including birthday parties, debut and cotillions, weddings and anniversaries, and even christenings. We took our crew to next level and were fortunate enough to perform with other legendary djs including DJ Qbert, Jazzy Jim, Juanito, DJ Glen Aure, DJ EFX to name a few. Being in this dj era, our group joined Imagine in 1989 where we were able to showcase with other dj groups including Skyway Sounds, Livestyle Productions, Club 5, Spinning Images, Sound Innovations, Premiere, Bay City Sounds, Exquisite Sounds, Styles In Motion, Dreamscape, Divine Style and the list goes on. I retired from djing in 1995 with all the great and fun memories but little did I know I would be back spinning again more than 15 years later. Thanks to today's technology and Serato, I am rockin the tables again with my Rane TTM57SL and my 2 Vestax PDX-2300 MK2 Pro Decks and getting back in the mix.
