When it comes to music, the essence of DJing is nothing new to Harvey Perry d.b.a DJ I.Cee. He is no stranger to the club scene, celebrity bashes and any event that requires “ good music “. Providing this music selection “ everytime out the gate “ he has been dubbed, “ Your favorite DJ “. His professional career started in the late 80's and since then it has been headed all the way to the top. I.Cee is presently holding down a constant changing weekly DJ schedule in New York City. Clubs such as: Lobby, Float, Exit, Cheetah, Club Deep, Remote Lounge, Supper Club & BB-Kings are just the icing on the cake. Virtually spinning at every major club in the New York City area, I.Cee has also been well recognized in the college party scene. He has performed at many major universities such as Columbia, NYU, Fordham, Pace, Boston College, Syracuse, St. Johns and the list goes on and on.
Putting New York aside, I.Cee has provided his skill as an amazing club/party DJ to venues in other states and countries. Acknowledging that to be a good DJ, one should learn to adapt to the ever changing atmosphere of music, I.Cee spins a variety of hip-hop, R&B, reggae, classics, salsa, reggaeton & even rock. From the old school to the present, I.Cee's turntable techniques have been witnessed in all the major party havens from, South Beach Miami, Las Vegas, Chicago, Virginia Beach & Philadelphia just to name a few. Expanding his horizons, DJ I.Cee gratefully took up the opportunity to play in Canada, Mexico, Jamaica and throughout the entire caribbean for various promoters events and trips.
I.Cee's effort of hard work has not gone unnoticed. Always keeping his selection of music fresh and DJing skills up to near perfection has lead him to be selected for many celebrity parties, benefits, weddings and album releases. Stephon Marbury- NBA Knicks Welcome Home Party, Russell Simmons, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys-R&B Live, Fabolous, various Rocafella and Violator Management release parties, Keyshia Cole, Nicole Wray, John Legend, Neyo, Busta Rhymes and various New York City Housing Authority charity events are just part of the still growing list. One of his biggest highlights came when he was requested to DJ a huge wedding party for Violator co-CEO Mona Scott. I.Cee quickly made a friend and has been called on to perform at several other occasions for Scott and her family. Proving that he has what it takes to make the crowd move, grasp their attention and keep them coming back for more, I.Cee's efforts have not been overlooked. Given recognition and appearing on television shows such as Russell Simmons' One World and NBA Inside Stuff, he hasn't ventured into that medium as just yet but he plans to ! DJ I.Cee has also been recognized in well-known magazines such as XXL, Felon, E Mixx Show, The Source & Rap Pages. Regardless if he's being interviewed on camera or words are being used to describe him, I.Cee has been commended by the media for a job well done.
Glancing into the future, I.Cee has many plans for himself and his career. Having many goals in mind I.Cee has decided to try his hands in production and artist development. Doing a world tour with a major music artist is also on his, " Things to Do " list. Wanting to conquer the unknown, I.Cee's career is in full speed and shows no signs of slowing down. It's only a matter of time before he starts to see his career prosper and make his aspirations come true as " Your Favorite DJ ", DJ I.Cee.
