A LITTLE BIT ABOUT DJ JAMMIN J -
Jammin J started his DJ career in the late 80's while on vacation with his Uncle in LA. Living in a neighborhood of pure DJ's, he would come home from his Summer job to the neighbors spinning 12 inch vinyls in their garage. He finally got enough courage to introduce himself and started hanging out with the crew going to house parties. One night they asked Jammin J if he wanted to give it a try and to their amazement, was right on cue with the beats. After that was his first set at a House Party, the energy he got from the crowd responding to his mixes was an incredible feeling. When he returned to the Bay Area, he saved enough money to buy his first DJ setup and the rest is history.

Since then, Jammin J has been serving the Bay Area with his style of mixing in different Nightclubs and Lounges. His first big break was with a Nightclub in Gilroy, CA called Bachelors. He debuted on the same night the DJ got fired and was hired on the spot. He ended up being the resident DJ there for 5 years. After that, he started venturing out to other spots and eventually landed in San Jose, CA in 2004 spinning at all the downtown Hot Spots with other known big name DJs. He was involved in getting the Official $2 buck Tuesdays at Cuccinis which is, to this day, still going strong at Sabor. He is recently involved with many venues in The Bay Area including Avalon, Azucar, The Starlight Room in SF and others.


DJ Jammin J specializes in Weddings, Quinceaneras, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Corporate Parties, Nightclubs and more. Djing and entertaining the crowd with his music is definitely his passion. Jammin J brings more than just the energy to the party. His company also offers Wedding Coordinators, Make Up Artists, Photographers, Limousine Service and more. He has DJed for some of the Top Companies & Organizations through out the Bay Area including The San Jose Sharks, Oakland Raiders, Apple, Google, Southwest Airlines, Kaiser Permanente, Cisco Systems, Custom Chrome, Double Tree Hotel, Pleasanton Hilton & The Starlight Room in San Francisco, to name a few.


The music is the true fire to excite your guests and keep them entertained. From the moment guests arrive, the music is what sets the mood for the rest of the night. Your DJ needs to capture your guests attention within the first minutes of arrival. If you do not create the perfect setting from the start you will continue playing catch-up for the rest of the evening.
