He overtakes any venue, lights up each and every party with his charming and endless energy and has taken over an entire market… You can find him on the radio or spinning records in the club, he controls the scene on every level. Voted 2005 & 2006’s West Coast DJ of the Year, his passion, enthusiasm and particularly charming personality set him apart in the music industry. DJ Knuckles has become one of the most sought out DJ's throughout the West Coast and the world for that matter. But before DJ Knuckles was selling out clubs from the Bay to LA, from New York to overseas or playing on the #1 radio station in San Francisco. The Heavy Hitter DJ Knuckles has dedicated himself to the mix starting at the age of 17. At the beginning of his career he started spinning at local house parties and school dances. DJ knuckles finally got a break a few months later at a local club soon becoming the resident DJ for 3 clubs in that area.
Gaining local popularity DJ knuckles looked to step his game up and started to network with radio people. Dedication and persistence paid off as soon after God blessed Knuckles as he began filling in during nightspots for KBMB 103.5 The Bomb. The opportunity proved to be a milestone for DJ Knuckles, because it soon lead him holding down the morning show Monday-Friday (5:30-10am) as a co-host, the 7 and 9 o’clock quick mix (7-8am – 9-10am) and right back later in the day for the phat mix @ 5pm Monday-Friday, as well as holding it down in the mix on Fridays from 5pm-8pm, and Saturdays from 12am-2am. With his success and momentum he moved up in rank, moving from market 27 to market 4 on his new station 106 KMEL in the Bay Area. A market change like that only happens rarely. He can also be found on his weekly Sirius Satellite show, and various radio stations such as B96.5 Kentucky, Power 92.3 Chicago and many more.
Over the last 10 years, Knuckles hard work has resulted in him becoming one of California’s top hip-hop/rnb/mashup, club/radio DJ’s thanks to his involvement in music/ artist showcases, celebrity/ sport events and various TV/ entertainment functions.
DJ Knuckles has thrilled audiences at events in cities such as New York, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Houston, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, and Mexico.
