It started off with a scratch and an inquisitive mind that wanted to know, What is that? At the green age of 12, DJ Latin Lunatic found peace in one of Hip Hop pioneering art forms. It was there, at a house party with his mother, that he discovered his destiny. The deal was done when the needle hit the record. Dj Latin Lunatic is far from submissive. This feisty Puerto Rican defines his name every time he spins a record. When you hear the music, you forget about race or gender. Instead, you hear a musical Dr. Jekyll mixing up all kinds of emotions. He has never allowed any negative energy from competitors to stop him. With 20 years of experience under his belt already, Lunatic is only looking to grow better. Once he gets in his zone, there is no stopping him or the party. Music is his therapy. After losing both of his parents before the age of 18, he has been venting his pain artistically. At the end of the day, he had music to help him maintain his sanity. Dj Latin Lunatic has mastered the art of splicing different tones and vibrations together. He breaks the music down into fragments and then recomposes it. You would never know that he is self taught. He has mastered the art of storytelling in musical form. This Milwaukee native has offered his services to fundraisers for cancer research, he has Deejayed at festivals and several clubs and bars from Wisconsin to California. He is already at the top of his goal. Looking back on his struggle, he only aspires to go higher.
