Member since Feb. 2011DJ Zulu has been spinning records off and on since 1980. In 1982, while living in New York and DJing events and dances for teenagers, he formed Darrenteed Productions. By 1983, DJ Zulu relocated with his parents back to Japan and began performing as DJ Doc Nice with regular gigs on Yokota Air Base, Japan and in the Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Roppongi districts of Tokyo. He semi retired in 1995 and in 1998, he returned to the ones and twos and started promoting large and small scale events in Atlanta, Chicago and the Midwest and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Some highlight appearances in DJ Zulu’s career include DJ and MC for Fox Reality Network Wrap Parties at Red Rock Mansion in Las Vegas as well as Viacom/VH1 T.V. Series Celebrity Fit Club and MC for Gallery Nightclub in New York City during Fashion Week 2005. Today, DJ Zulu currently DJ's, hosts and promotes events all over and could coming to a town near you! Music Is The Answer. Always!
