Before DJ Mysterio was a DJ, he was Daniel. When he was 12 years old, his godbrother bought a set of Technics turntables. He showed Daniel how a turntable works and what i mixxer does. Before DJ Mysterio was a DJ, he was Daniel. When he was 12 years old, his godbrother bought a set of Technics turntables. He showed Daniel how a turntable works and what i mixxer does. Daniel was over his God brother's house almost 24 hours a day, almost 7 days of the week for that summer. Flash forward to the age of 15, when Daniel and his older brother, together bought a set of turntables. After that he was practicing from sun up to sun down. Drivning his mother and the rest of his family insane. Daniel and his brother would spend hours in record stores all over the Los Angeles area looking for the perfect song, records and break beats. The name DJ Mysterio came from his God brother from DJing backyard parties during the B-Boy era when the style of wearing beenies, sunglasses and Adidas sweat suits. People didn't know who he was but were amazed that a kid from Los Angeles was able to rock a party like if he was born with music in his blood. "Aye people don't know who you are and you now need a DJ name... i know cause you wear the beenie and glasses your DJ name is Mysterio... yea DJ Mysterio". Thus DJ Mysterio was "Born". Now under the guidance of DJ Icy Ice of Power 106 Fm,World Famous Beat Junkies, and Soul Elevation.." DJ Mysterio's career as a entertainer will coutinue to like his mixxes. It was a friends birthday party he told me it was going to be small "get together" at a rented hall. 500 people later, about 4 fights, 3 drunk girls, its 2 am, and this 1 DJ is still waiting for his "gas money".... Armando
What's something no one knows about you being a DJ? The free gifts and the crazy things you would see as your in the club or at a party and people don't belive you
(Secret, Pet Peeve, Eating Habit, etc.) I video record as many events I spin at. After play it back and then make fun of them when I'm at the West LA NORMS eating my lumber jack slam
