Born January 11, 1978 in Michigan, Shane Rushlo's family moved to Florida when he was a year old. It was in 1994 when he was captivated by electronic music / Florida Breakbeats. In 1997 he bought his first set of turntables, a Gemini PT 2000 setup with a two-channel mixer and developed a deeper love for music. Born January 11, 1978 in Michigan, Shane Rushlo's family moved to Florida when he was a year old. It was in 1994 when he was captivated by electronic music / Florida Breakbeats. In 1997 he bought his first set of turntables, a Gemini PT 2000 setup with a two-channel mixer and developed a deeper love for music. He then began performing at various clubs throughout Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, and Orlando.
After several years playing Breakbeats Dj Rushlo decided to start a family in 2001, putting DJing on hold. In 2011, Dj Rushlo's passion for DJing and music, which has been burning all along, prompted him to make the decision to get back on the wheels of steel. He's been digging into the new technology and software related to DJing and has performed a local venue since (Naked Alien Foam Party in Land O Lakes, FL, on December 10th, 2011). Dj Rushlo's current genre is still Old School Breakbeats and he'sexpanded to Nu Skool Electro Breaks, Electro House, House and more.
