I went to Lowell High School in San Francisco in the late 80s / early 90s, and for school dances we always had two DJ setups: one in the gym for the hip-hop and one in the middle courtyard for the "mods" - you know, the black eyeliner crew. I made this mix with that in mind, some of my favorite "middle courtyard" jams. Make sure to use water-proof mascara.
