I love music and sharing it with others. Unlike most DJs, I do like to dance but I am more comfortable behind turntables than on a dancefloor. Started DJing as a kid (early/mid 90's) by helping my Dad with his mobile DJ side business (mostly weddings, anniversaries, birthday and family parties).
Like most strange nicknames,"Tropical Goodies" comes from my friends using it during my college days in the bay area. Late night adventures typically led us to this casino in Colma that had a 24/7 cafe. On their menu is a description for Halo Halo, which is a Filipino dessert (see profile pic). Basically, it's just vanilla, mango, or ube ice cream with colorful, tropical goodies! Mixing is a fundamental part of DJing and 'Halo Halo' actually translates into 'mix mix.' Anyways, the name stuck so I try to add some musical and emotional tropical goodies to your life each time I mix.
