In this first installment, she is joined by JABAone (Homegrown Blends / Dojo Soundz / Armory Massive) and Felt 1 (Armory Massive). The 3 rules of the mix: 1) One DJ puts together a 20-Min Mix, then passes it to another DJ 2) The second selector picks up where the first left off, mixing the next 20 minutes 3) The mix is handed to a third and final DJ, who closes out the last 20 minutes. Each DJ is responsible for building on what came before, as well as selecting the next DJ. An amazing mix with three talented and unique sound selectors. Soulful classics from Curtis Mayfield, Erkyah Badu, and Mary J. Blige to that gritty boom bap from the likes of Mobb Deep, Smif N Wessun, OC, LPSD, Kutfather, as well as the newer generation with Bambu and Substantial. A little bit of everything, so cohesive that you'd think it was one person doing it. Well done... time to pass the peas!"
