The mixes range from many different eras and crazes of music ranging from the Mod,Rock,Pop,Psychedelic and Surf scene of the 60s to the Northern Soul,Funk and Ska of the 70s to the reggae and mod revival scene of the early 80s. Jazzamatazz's Bio
Jazzamatazz is a musical journey project by Scottish Dj Jason Jazz Thyne which will bring many different past music styles back to life in nonstop DJ mixes. The mixes range from many different eras and crazes of music ranging from the Mod,Rock,Pop,Psychedelic and Surf scene of the 60s to the Northern Soul,Funk and Ska of the 70s to the reggae and mod revival scene of the early 80s. The Hip-Hop and dance of the late 80s,early 90s will also be explored along with the Big Beat and Trip Hop scene of the last 20 years which was heavily influenced by the grooves previously mentioned. There will be something for everyone over the coming months.
The music of sweat-filled dancehalls of this generation has been an influence on my wide taste in sounds over the years and the whole idea of Jazzamatazz is to share the many wonderful tunes from a forgotten time when the music was our everything,when the people were not so shallow and when life seemed a lot more simpler and happier.
