DJ Bio's:

DJ Syrehn’s love for music began at a very early age. “I remember collecting as far back as when I was 6 years old. You could find me at the records stores spending hours looking through music.” When Syrehn turned 15, she joined different hip hop dance crews in the San Francisco Bay Area. Syrehn’s dance experience was the foundation of her ability to make instant connections with the crowd. Her natural resonance with music as a dancer instinctively led her to DJing. After relocating to Los Angeles from San Francisco, she got her start at a party called “Cultura”, a night dedicated to showcasing female DJs founded by Prince’s DJ Rashida. Since then, she has been rockin’ crowds in the Los Angeles and San Francisco scene. Being able to feel the music as a dancer and hear the music as a DJ translates into her mixing. Syrehn is known for her distinct creative style and dynamic sets combining hip hop & R&B, reggae, house, rock and everything in between.

For the past 16 years DJ Miamor has worked in many facets of the entertainment industry including at the Warner/Elektra/Atlantic record label, as well as radio programming & promotions at KBLX-FM in San Francisco. She also assisted with talent buying at the legendary Temple Bar (Santa Monica, CA), and worked at numerous record retail stores including the Hip Hop and Soul section at Amoeba Music both in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In 2008 she held down a position as Web Producer at QD3 Entertainment, a company owned by record and film producer Quincy Jones III. Most recently, Miamor just returned to Los Angeles from a promotional tour djing for A.M.I. Record Group recording artist Mz. Munchie.
