DJ MadCoins (a metaphor for change) has been manipulating music and dance floors since the mid 90s, when he first discovered the art of deejaying. DJ MadCoins (a metaphor for change) has been manipulating music and dance floors since the mid 90s, when he first discovered the art of deejaying. Since that time he has lived in the UK (London), Madison, WI and Austin, TX while deejaying multiple clubs and more than 400 individual events including well-known events such as SXSW, ESPN's X-Games and The Honda Civic Tour.
Knowing where the roots of current music come from and knowing where music is going has always been important to DJ MadCoins and has kept him on the cutting edge of the DJ scene. In addition to supporting the dance floor vibe, DJ MadCoins also supports conscious lyrics and the modern international music vibe, implementing these elements in his sets to help push progressive change in consciousness and music alike. The MadCoins DJ style fluidly crosses genres and takes you on an ever evolving and uplifting journey through Hip Hop, Soul, Electro, Cumbia, Tropical, Bass and cutting edge remixes of well-known tracks. DJ MadCoins has a knack for sensing the mood of the crowd and providing just what is needed when it is needed, always leaving the audience satisfied. He firmly believes that being a good DJ includes possessing the ability to be universal; this means being able to select and blend many different styles of music and do it well.
Existing as part musicologist, part crate digger and part music historian/futurist, DJ MadCoins puts plenty of thorough research and unique flavor into each of his live sets whenever possible.
