Just continuing on my apprenticeship, was still learning, this was done at the same time as my 1st mix I'd uploaded (around 2004)..Didn't see the point of mixing tracks the standard way of average 2 minutes or after the first bridge, as I couldn't enjoy the main song track when it came to playback. I wouldn't let it run fully though,trying to strike a balance, so i tried to catch most of the song before the blends, I wasn't Interested in the Usual "DEMO" look of mixes, I wanted how the nightclubs & pubs music were playing at the time they will try to play close to the full track (this helps to kill time and use less music)...Also try to mix the original tracks & avoids some of the remix at the time as I thought blends were easier with remix, but mixing original was a challenge & too me sounded better as the beat flow but it didn't sound the same.
