Mr Dex's Bio
Mr. Dex's musical journey begun early in his childhood playing the Violin, French Horn and collecting vinyl. His collection and musical tastes includes Hip-Hop, Funk and Soul amongst others.
His DJ career started in the 90’s spinning at house parties and bars, before moving onto radio and clubs.
As tour DJ for Terrafirma and Klashnekoff, Dex spun sets at venues throughout the UK including The world famous Jazz Café & Fabric. During this time he has shared the stage alongside artists and DJs including: DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Cash Money [DMC], Scratch Perverts [DMC], Ghostface, Sway, Estelle & Omar.
Over the past year he has developed an interest in video mixing and to date has done several live VJ sets in venues across London. He has utilised his VJ skills on several education projects with organisations including the BFI (British Film Institute) and Talawa Theatre Company.
