If you’ve been following any of my posts, you’ve probably already figured out that I’m kind of a throwback from another time.  With, the exception of cars and girls, most of the shit that I really dig is older than me.  Okay, okay, so even my girl is older than me… oh, and now that I think about it, I guess my truck is too…  (back-off, they’re both within a year…)

Let’s see, where was I going with this?  Oh yeah, I wanted to introduce you to our friends over at Old School Scholar!  If you’re looking for history on anything hip hop, they’re a good place to start.  They’ve got links to some great videos, including a lot of great obscure documentaries, and an incredible gallery of photos!

The Vision of Old School Scholar: The University of Hip Hop Culture, is to create a global symposium providing the highest order of education, inspiration, editorial, media, news and resources in all major aspects of the Hip Hop Culture. The Old School Scholar Vision is to establish a foundation for life-long growth in the Hip Hop culture beginning with the roots of our Old School pioneers, and to offer opportunities for contributors and members that are tradition based and socially oriented.
