DJ No-Fi and Dubpixels performed at last week's Cherry Blast in SE DC. DJ No-Fi started off the night with reggae selections from his vinyl collection and then Dubpixel took over the controls and played a set of drum and bass using an Ipad, Ableton and bass guitar. We brought or most treasured analog gear for this gig including a 16 channel soundcraft mixer. In our effects rack we had a real spring reverb and vintage delays. Monica Stroik projected video throughout the night and ESL artist Congo Sanchez and DJ VJ John Bowen performed sets afterwards. This was the 4th annual Cherry Blast and the biggest one yet. We actually performed at the first one as well under the name 302 acid.
