Ive done two mixes in July 12. "Progression" was the first. It's my fav melodic electronic tracks. This mix "Regression" is the opposite. It's a journey through dubby, dark music. A twisted, trippy route through some old classics from 1993 right through to bang up to date techno. Some of my favourite techno producers are on here. I've long since held the belief that electronic music didnt just from Kraftwerk etc. but as much from 1970s Dub music from Jamaica. Rhythmically anyway. Thats why theres some tracks from Basic Channel on here as I dont think anybody has quite captured the link between Dub & Techno as much ever since. Producers killing it at the minute for me are Bas Mooy, Cassegrain, Milton Bradley, Sigha, Forward Strategy Group & Jeroen Search. The mix showcases all these artists (well a remix from Jeroen Search) in a look down the darker side of techno.
