The Pacheco Show

Born in San Francisco when “throwing down” was how you settled things! As for Radio its really simple. In 2002 I enrolled in broadcasting school at KVHS-90.5 The Edge in Concord CA, where I found the real me. In 2003 I began my radio career as an intern at KYLD-Wild 94.9 San Francisco. After 8 months of no pay, endless days and nights and hard work, I was promoted to a Promotion Coordinator/driver. In 2006 I finally got my shot to be 0n-Air hosting “The Saturday night street party”. I worked full time in promotions and part time On-Air and I loved every minute of it! In 2007 I decided to make the move to Monterey,CA and with it, a new station. KYZZ-Jammin 97.9 was now my home. In 2008, after a great year and a half on the grind rocking weekends, I came back home to northern Cali where I landed at KDND-107.9 The End in Sacramento. After a great run it was time for change.

Over the years radio has changed and with it changes had to be made. The radio industry is not what it once was. Its about the money and not so much about the music. It is that fact that makes me proud to call Party 934, 94.9 FM Hudson Valley, New York my new home!
