Prueph began DJing just after high school developing his unique style. He isn't one to stick to any certain format, which makes him stand out in a crowd of DJs. He began his professional DJ career in 1998 with his residences at Area 51 and Latino House in Charlotte. His first mix CD "Breaks To A Science" put him on the map as an innovative DJ mixing breaks, hip-hop, and house. Prueph is one of those DJ's you always want to check out, because you never know what he'll play next. He was playing an amphitheater in Jackson MS. When in the middle of his set a train goes by drowning out the music. He stopped to music, matched the beat with the clacks of the train, and mixed it back in as the crowd went crazy.
“Straight Up Strangers†the debut album from Prueph will be released Summer of 2011. It has been a work in progress and inspired by his past two years of traveling across the country. Prueph has made friends and family from coast to coast, with all his encounters, and the times spent alone. Prueph came to the notion, we are all Straight Up Strangers.
Prueph has played with such DJs as Dieselboy, Icey, Scott Henry, Paul Oakenford, Sasha and John Digweed, Q-Bert, Craze, Mix Master Mike, Odi, Keoki, Fixx, Keith MacKenzie, D-lerium & Faze, Dom & Ronald, Far Too Loud, Doc Roc, Mike B, Eric Berretta and many more.
