The DJ at the decks there was Tijs Verwest, better known as Tiesto. That night he unleashed my desire to share the music I love and brought me into a genre which I have grown to love. Ever since then, I have been totally immersed in electronic music... from house, trance & progressive...to drum & bass and techno. I learned to mix on a pair of old Technics and a beat up mixer, I chased top DJs from city to city...and the fun hasn't stopped since.
More than 8 years later, the feeling is still going strong...the feeling I have after I heard a great track... it reminds me of...that evening, right after Tiesto's set, as I was walking home, my ears ringing, my heart pumping, I was gasping for air all because of the exhilarating set of tracks that were so magically and miraculously threaded together by the DJ.
If you know what I am talking about...then we can be friends.
