S6ks [pronounced/sometimes written siks] is an upcoming dj based in the beautiful, diverse and talented city of Nairobi, Kenya.He is currently a student in a local Kenyan university. He is also into modeling, design, photography, acting, friendships and so much more. Truly he is a man of many passions. He is a lover of music(obviously) and more predominantly rock music. He enjoys great moments with friends, just doing whatever makes their days and is a believer in living your life and living it to your best.
He stated by deejaying on his computer using Virtual dj.., WATCH THIS SPACE FOR MORE!!
He draws his inspiration from listening to music and feeling how each and every part has been put together to make music... food to the soul. He is also largely inspired by the movie "JUICE(1992)" starring Tupac Shakur, Samuel L. Jackson and Omar Epps among others. He is driven by the love of deejaying and whenever he gets into a matatu playing a dj mix or listens to a dj mix on radio/ T.V. the urge only grows stronger. The urge to touch many and possibly make a difference.
He has a list of dj influences that could as well fill the earth if it were to be written on a piece of paper. Dj influences include Dj John, Dj Adrian, Dj C.K., Dj Protege, Dj Vin, Dj Kalonje, Dj Cinema and Dj Noodles to name but a few.
In his mix collection you can find a little something for everyone. He mixes music from the genres of alternative, dance, electronic, hip-hop/rap, pop, r 'n' b, reggae, rock and world.
February 2012 is when he debuted to the world when he uploaded his mix titled RANDOM VALUES on his mixcrate account(http://www.mixcrate.com/s6ks) and since then there's been no stopping him.
He aspires to take you to heaven and beyond with his mixes.
