Sean Tayco has over 3 Decades of experience as a DJ and entertainer.
Seanie Fresh Tayco bought his first pair of Radioshack Belt Driven Turntables and a Realistic dj mixer in 1979 for under $100 dollars.
In 1984 Sean collaborated with David Miguel to form DMST and together they became the Bay Areas first Dj/ Promoters that combined party people fom all different high schools. Thus promoting the sickest Dj/Showcase and Battles to happen on their side of the East Bay eventually paving the way as the Pioneers of Hip Hop and Mainstream Parties for Northern California.
In the early 90's it was time to break away from the mainstream only to evolve into his altered ego "Dj Seanieboy" and start mixing underground in San Francisco at Spundaes and Home Base Raves in Oakland Cali. This is when the Love for Electronic Music started to seduce Seanieboy into a frenzy of House Music spinning for crowds that could max up to 7000 ravers.
Sean was honored to open up or headline along the likes of Fatboy Slim, Frankie Knuckles, Marques Wyatt, Carl Cox, Frankie Bones, Sasha and Digweed, Chemical Brothers, Adam Freeland, Tall Paul, Dj Keoki, Doc Martin, Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx, Daft Punk, Mark Farina just to name a few, and the list goes on...
Through the years he perfected a love of creating seam-less dance mixes that have packed the floors to capacity. Sean’s ability to read every crowd and any genre challenge proves he has mastered the art of filling dance floors as well as controlling the microphone with powerful presence and confidence.
Sean continued to build his professional client base with the likes of several cruise ship accounts such as The Hornblower Yachts, The San Francisco Spirit Yachts associated with West Coast Cruises, based out of Southern California and also coordinated events in the waterways of Seattle, New York, and of course San Francisco. During this same time period Sean was also a resident DJ for more than a handful of nightclubs simultaneously in the Bay Area and created tailored DJ mix shows for a number of radio stations and also had an evening radio/personality show.
Sean moved to Kauai Hawaii to continue his radio career as a morning radio personality for Island Radio 98.9 while simultaneously launching a mobile DJ business. In Kauai, Sean subcontracted his mobile DJ business with Michael Dandurands’ Kustom Sounds Kauai. During this joint venture Sean quickly became Kustom Sounds most requested DJ. Sean’s popularity helped Kustom Sounds Kauai to become the #1 rated DJ Company on Kauai for various Bridal magazines 5 consecutive years in a row. Sean Tayco has truly mastered the art of being a wedding DJ because Kauai is a year-round destination wedding location. Sean has entertained wedding parties from all over the globe. kskauai.com
Sean has recently relocated his mobile DJ business, ffortay DJ Entertainment to Southern California and is a resident of Newport Beach. Sean knows that the beauty and sophistication of Orange County attracts Brides and Grooms from all over the globe each with a unique and limitless desire to create their own special day that they will remember together for the rest of their lives.
