Elliott Sabbagh, “That DJ ELLâ€, is a talented classically trained Violinist and vinyl turntableist DJ, who plays and composes many music genres including hip-hop, jazz, fusion, R & B, and classical.

Trained from an early age of five in the strings, he is considered a "musical, rhythmic prodigy". As a violinist he has performed throughout Michigan and has studied at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. He credits his success as a vinyl DJ/artist to his many years of playing and studying violin and music.

DJ Ell entered the DJ scene at the age of eleven when he got his first pair of turntables. By age twelve, DJ Ell started performing at local events, house parties and small venues that had helped him get off the ground. By the time he turned thirteen he was playing at venues in and around Michigan like the Gruv Night Club, The Spot, PJ’s, The Blind Pig, Envy, The Power Center, Comerica Park, and Cloud 9, to name a few. Soon after, DJ Ell was invited to join several nationally known DJ crews and labels. Along with the new press this “young prodigy†started to get, Ell began getting contacts and shows with the Channel 95.5 Detroit and FM 98 WJLB radio stations. He also hooked up with DJ Chill Will who runs the Midwest’s longest Hip-Hop radio show, “The Prop Shop†(since 1988) on WCBN FM Ann Arbor. Today DJ Ell and DJ Chill Will still run the show together every Saturday night from 9:00 pm. to midnight. Ell is the youngest DJ in the U.S to Co-host a Radio Hip-Hop show, and travel in and around the state playing at 18+ and 21+ events and concerts.

Today, DJ Ell has been seen from MTV, to performing for Red Bull as well as tours, and opening/ performances with many celebrity artists such as Lil Jon, Wale, DJ Class, Twista, Chris Webby, Bei Maejor, Big Sean, Colby O'Donis, Obie Trice, Big K.R.I.T., Three 6 Mafia, Lil Twist (Young Money) to name a few, and also old school legends as Mc Lyte, Raekwon and Cymarshall Law.

Unlike most DJs in the game, who only play one genre of music, DJ Ell has played a wide range of events, concerts and festivals from opening for the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF) to Vans Warped Tour.

Don’t be shocked if you walk into the hottest spot in town and look up to find this young DJ laying it down on the 1s ‘n 2s, or if you turn on your radio to catch Ell mixing live.
